Woman Arrested Over Nursery 'Sex Attack'
A 32-year-old female nursery worker has been arrested in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a child in a Leeds nursery.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed that the woman was detained at the unnamed nursery in the south of the city on Friday.
She has been released on bail while enquiries continue.
Officers from the force's Child and Public Protection Unit are investigating the allegation.
Police have said that the investigation is at an early stage, but said that they believed this was an isolated incident.

A 39-year-old woman has been charged with sexually abusing a child and taking and distributing an indecent image, following an investigation into paedophiles at a Plymouth nursery. Tracy Lyons, from Portsmouth, has been remanded in custody until 18 January 2010 after appearing before South East Hampshire Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

Child abuse is back in focus with news today that a 20-year-old nursery worker has been arrested on suspicion of abuse on a child. Police said the man was employed as an assistant at the Little Stars Nursery in Nechells. They said that the man, from Nechells, Birmingham, was taken into custody in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

A 20-year-old nursery worker has admitted the rape of a toddler. Paul Anthony Wilson, of Newbold Croft, Nechells, Birmingham, pleaded guilty to two counts of raping of a toddler as well as 40 other offences. Those offences include grooming young girls on the internet and distributing indecent images.
