London Police Seek Robbery Suspects
Police have released details of two suspects said to be involved in an attempted robbery in Wembley.
Last Tuesday, 3 November at around 4.45pm, a 23-year-old woman was shopping in Preston Road, HA9 with her two-year-old daughter.
Two female suspects approached her and demanded money, gradually becoming more aggressive. The suspects then punched the victim in the arm, and punched the victim's daughter in the head. No property was taken.
Detective Inspector Rebecca Reeves, Brent CID Priority Crime Unit said: "Although the victim and her daughter do not have any visible injuries, this was a frightening experience for them."
She said that police had released descriptions in the hope that someone may recognise the suspects and report them to the police."
One suspect is described as female, of Mediterranean appearance, aged 14 to 18, about 5 foot tall, with long dark brown curly hair, wearing a white jacket, black mini skirt, tiger stripe leggings, black flat shoes, and carrying a large black ladies fake-leather bag with metal gilt details.
The other suspect is described as female, of Mediterranean appearance, aged 14 to 18, slightly taller than suspect one, with long dark brown curly hair, wearing a black jacket, blue denim skinny jeans, black 'Ugg' boots, and carrying a large brown ladies fake-leather bag with gold gilt details.
Anyone who recognises the suspects or anyone with any information regarding this incident is asked to contact Brent CID on 07917 067 281 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

A mother has successfully fought off a man and a woman who attempted to snatch her baby daughter from her pram in Leigh, Greater Manchester. Girl Arrested After Elderly Woman Punched In Face
Police have launched an investigation after an elderly woman was punched in the face on a bus in Croydon. A 14-year-old female has been arrested and taken to a south London police station, where she remains in custody. A second female has also been identified, but she has not been arrested at this time.
