Charges Over Oldham Stabbing
Two men have been charged after an Oldham man was stabbed in the shoulder.
Sajad Hussain, 36, and Babar Bashir, 43, both of Elgin Avenue, Clarksfield, Oldham have been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.
They both appeared before Oldham Magistrates' Court on Tuesday 8 December.
Police were called to Elgin Avenue, Oldham, shortly before 1.20pm on Sunday 6 December 2009, following reports of fighting.
A 27-year-old man was found with a stab wound to his back and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Anyone with information about the incident should call police on 0161 856 8951 or call the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Oldham Explosion Inquiry Continues
Oldham Council and a range of partner organisations across all sectors are continuing work to assist residents affected by Tuesday's explosion in Shaw. Police now say the death of the two-year-old, named as Jamie Heaton, is being treated as suspicious. The explosion in Buckley Street, also left a 27-year-old man in hospital with burns.

A number of people from a group called Plane Stupid, stormed the northern runway at about 03:30 on Monday. It is understood that the protest was in opposition to the airport's expansion plans.

A young boy found barefoot in a Birmingham street on Thursday night will be reunited with his family after his parents came forward to report him missing. The three-year-old boy, originally thought to be four, was found in Chesterton Avenue, Balsall Heat, just before 10pm by a member of the public.
