Man Held Over Bradford Boy's Death
Police have arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of murder following the death of a nine-year-old boy in Bradford last night.
He is also being questioned about the wounding of an 18-year-old woman.
Police were called to reports that a boy had been stabbed at an address on Rookes Avenue in Bradford shortly before 8pm yesterday.
The was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary but died of his injuries. A post mortem has been carried out and the cause of death is multiple stab wounds, police said this afternoon.
His 18-year-old sister was also taken to hospital with a stab wound - but her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Police are asking anyone who was in the Rookes Avenue area at the time of the incident to contact Detective Sergeant Simon Leek on 0845 60 60 606.

Police in West Yorkshire have confirmed that human remains found in the River Aire are those of missing Bradford woman, Suzanne Blamires. The body parts were recovered from the river in Shipley on Tuesday, after being discovered by a member of the public who then reported the find to police.

Four arrested following Beeb's BNP documentary
Four men have been arrested today following the broadcast of a BBC documentary on the British National Party. A 23-year-old Bradford man was arrested in connection with racially aggravated public order offences, and a 35-year-old man and a 40-year-old man, both from Keighley, were arrested in connection with conspiracy to commit damage.
