Oxford 'Flasher' Sought
Police have appealed for witnesses following a series of exposures in and around Oxford over the past fortnight.
The most recent of these offences was on Saturday, at the blue and white bridge on Whitehouse Road, at the bottom of the steps on the Friars Wharf side.
A 21-year-old woman was cycling across the bridge when a man exposed himself to her.
On the 25 February, a 22-year-old woman was walking along the river near the Osney Mead Industrial Estate on Ferry Hinksey Road, when a man walked in front of her and went into some bushes. He then came out and exposed himself.
The same day, a man of a similar description went into Cult Clothing in St Ebbes Street, entered a changing room, and exposed himself to a 27-year-old woman.
The man is white, in his late teens, between 5ft 10ins and 6ft, slim, with blond or light brown hair, police said.
At the incident at Cult Clothing, he was wearing a black shoulder bag, black top and blue jeans. He was also wearing a black top and blue jeans when he exposed himself on Saturday but no bag was seen, according to a Thames Valley Police spokesman.
Sergeant Claire Storry said today: "We are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have had a similar experience.
"We believe the three incidents have involved the same man as witnesses’ descriptions are very similar.
"While the man has not been threatening towards his victims, we are concerned about this pattern of behaviour."
