Boy Injured In Taxi Collison
A 10-year-old is being treated in hospital for serious head injuries after he was in collision with a taxi in Swansea.
South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident at 8.45pm last night immediately outside the Mosque in St Helen's Road, Swansea.
A white Vauxhall Vectra taxi was involved.
The child, who lives locally, was taken to Morriston Hospital. His family have been informed.
St Helen's Road was busy at the time of the collision and South Wales Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who stopped to provide assistance and who has not yet given their details.
The road was closed for around four hours while police conducted the initial investigation, which included the recovery of the vehicle.

Five retired police officers have been arrested as part of an investigation into the murder of a Cardiff prostitute 17 years ago, South Wales police have confirmed. Twenty-year-old Lynette White was found murdered in a flat in the Butetown area of Cardiff on Valentine’s Day, 1988.

Three people have been killed in a road traffic collision in Wales, police have said. The incident happened in Tal-y-Bont, Conway, at 8:45pm on 29 October. A woman in her late 50's was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries. North Wales Police said the victims' next of kin have been informed.

Unlicensed Minicab Driver Jailed For Killing Passenger
An unlicensed minicab driver has been jailed for eight years for causing the death of a passenger. Matab Uddin, 59, of Blackshots Lane, Essex was found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving and fraud. The court heard how police were called on Sunday, 17 November 2013 at about 1:45am to reports of a man injured on Essex Road.
