PM Flies In For Stormont Meeting

Prime Minister David Cameron is in Northern Ireland today.

He is due to be at Stormont Castle soon after noon where he will be meeting First Minister Peter Robinson and Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness in this, the first NI trip since the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats sealed their own power-sharing deal at Westminster.

The irony of meeting the two top ministers in another power-sharing executive will not be lost as details of the various agreement between the Liberal Democrats and the Conservatives have been revealed today - including an intention to re-examine corporation tax in Northern Ireland.

This has long been on the Executive's 'wish list' as a much lower rate across the Irish border has long been seen as a severe handicap when attracting inward investment for Northern Ireland.
