Gerry Rafferty Dies At 63
'Baker Street' singer-songwriter Gerry Rafferty has died at the age of 63.
The Scottish singer-song passed away after suffering a long illness.
He is best known for his 1970s hits 'Baker Street' and 'Stuck in the Middle with You'.
Rafferty recorded and toured with Billy Connolly as part of the Humblebums, before forming Stealers Wheel with his friend Joe Egan in 1972.
Battling an alcohol problem, Rafferty spent time in Bournemouth hospital suffering liver failure.
The Paisley born musician began his career as a busker on the London Underground.
He died at home with his daughter Martha at his bedside.
His funeral will be held in Paisley later this month.

Arrest Made After Man Found With Penis Cut Off
Police have arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with another man who was found by the side of a road with his penis cut off. According to police a man aged 40 was found "in a distressed state" on the A66 in the early hours of Thursday morning, suffering wounds to his groin.

Four arrested over injured baby
Police are questioning four people after a baby boy was taken to hospital suffering serious head injuries in Manchester. The 17-month-old boy was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary on Thursday evening, before being transferred to the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, where his condition is described as critical.

A young woman has died after a coastal rock face collapsed in Dorset. 22-year-old Charlotte Blackman was buried by an estimated 400 tonnes of mud and rock that fell from the top of the cliff, in two landslides, on to the beach below.

Paisley Woman's Death Is 'Suspicious'
A woman's body has been found at a house in Cowal Drive, Paisley, Renfrewshire. Police have said they are treating the death as "suspicious". At around 2.30pm on Thursday, police were called to the property where they found the woman's body. A section of the street has been closed to allow forensic officers to carry out an investigation.
