CCTV Images Released Following Bus Driver Assault
Officers from the joint Metropolitan Police Service and Transport for London Safer Transport Command Workplace Violence Unit are appealing for information in connection with an assault in Camden.
The incident occurred on Monday, 10 January around 7pm, on board a route 59 bus, which was stationary on Eversholt Street in north west London.
Police and the London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended and found the victim, a female bus driver, whose face was covered in blood.
She had been punched in the face by the suspect who was attempting to board the bus.
She was taken by LAS to University College Hospital and discharged later that evening.
The suspect is described as male, with short dark hair, wearing a dark padded jacket and denim trousers. The ethnicity of the man is not known, but he may have spoken with a foreign accent.
DC Anthony Barun, Investigating Officer said: "Euston would have been busy with commuters and there must have been people who saw the incident. We are appealing for anyone who recognises this man or knows of his whereabouts to contact us. We believe he may have been travelling towards Streatham."

Funding for buses has been cut for half of local authorities in England and Wales. Since 2010, local authority funding for bus service has been slashed by 15 per cent (£44m) with more than 2000 routes being reduced or withdrawn entirely, according to research by Campaign for Better Transport.

London Bus Drivers Postpone Strike Action
Planned strike action by London bus drivers has been postponed as an "act of goodwill". The strike action was due to take place on Friday and Monday, with drivers walking out across the city's 18 bus companies. Unite the union has called on the bus companies to accept an invitation for talks.

Transport For London Bus Drivers Strike Over Olympic Bonus
Thousands of bus workers in London are on strike in a dispute over bonus pay for working during the Olympics. Transport for London (TfL) said more than a third of bus routes were running but "many routes were disrupted". Members of Unite employed by 17 bus firms walked out for 24 hours from 03:00 BST over a £500 bonus.
