Deftones Announce Special London Show
Ahead of their appearances at Reading And Leeds Festivals this year, the rock metal band Deftones have announced a one-off London show in August.
The three piece band from Sacremento, who are appearing on the main stage in Reading on August 26 and the following day at Leeds, have announced a headline show in London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire, on August 24.
The band are also booked to play a series of European festivals throughout the summer but at present the London show and Reading And Leeds Festivals are their only scheduled appearances in the UK this year.
Deftones are currently touring with replacement bassist Sergio Vega, as original bassist Chi Cheng continues to recover from a serious car accident that occurred in 2007.
Cheng is believed to remain in a semi conscious state, but is expected to undergo experimental therapy this year and has already experienced some signs of recovery.
Cheng's family have launched the site oneloveforchi.com to assist the family in their payment for medical bills, which have reached in excess of €500,000.
