Merseyside Stabbing Victim Named
Police have identified a woman who was stabbed to death at a house in Merseyside on Sunday.
Anne-Marie Cleary, a 41-year-old mother-of-two, was found at an address in Oarside Drive, Wallasey by paramedics around 2pm on Saturday.
She was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital, but later died.
A post-mortem revealed that she died from stab wounds.
A 50-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police are conducting a forensic examination at the scene and officers are carrying out house-to-house enquiries as the investigation continues.
Merseyside Police have asked anyone with any information to contact them.

Fireworks Seized By Authorities In Liverpool

Police and Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service responded to reports of that fireworks were being stored without a licence at an address on Smithdown Road in Edge Hill. Police in Liverpool are appealing for information following the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old boy outside a youth club. The teenager, identified by police as Joseph Lappin, was with two friends when he was attacked by a group of youths outside Shrewsbury House Youth Club, Langrove Street, Everton at 8.40pm on Monday evening.

London bombings ‘suspect’ charged
A man arrested last weekend in connection with the July 7 London bombings has been charged with wasting police time. Imran Patel, 27, from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, was arrested last Saturday, on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism. The arrest followed a tip-off from the ‘News of the World’.

Further Arrest in Rhys Murder Investigation
Police investigating the murder of Merseyside schoolboy Rhys Jones have made another arrest. A 20-year-old man has now been arrested in connection with Rhys' murder, Merseyside Police confirmed on Wednesday. Earlier, it was confirmed that police have been granted more time to continue questioning eleven people arrested in connection with the case.
