Two Shot In Tipperary

Two men are recovering in hospital after being shot during an incident in Tipperary on Monday morning.

Gardaí in Templemore, Co Tipperary said they are investigating the shooting incident which occurred shortly before 2am this morning.

Two men, - aged 20 and 22 - were shot in an area known as Townpark in Templemore. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Both men were taken to South General Hospital in Clonmel where they are currently receiving treatment for their injuries.

The scene of the shooting is sealed off pending a Garda technical examination.
No arrests have been made at this stage and investigations are continuing.

Policewoman shot dead on daughter's birthday
The policewoman shot dead on Friday in Bradford was gunned down on her four-year-old daughter's birthday. Pc Sharon Beshenivsky, 38, was shot in the chest as she answered a call to a travel agents shop in Bradford. Her colleague PC Teresa Milburn, 37, was wounded in the shoulder.
