Hundreds Mourne RAF Pilot
Hundreds of mourners have today paid tribute to the Red Arrows pilot who was killed after being ejected from his plane at the team’s base.
Flt Lt Cunningham, 35, was killed when he was ejected from his Hawk T1 aircraft while on the runway at RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire on 8 November.
Hunderds of people gathered at Coventry Cathedral to mourn the loss and celebrate the life of Cunnigham. During the service the pilot was described by his commanding officer as "dedicated and charming".
There is an independent investigation underway to establish the circumstances of the incident.

The AA clarifies position on motorway speed limits
The AA Motoring Trust has clarified reports that it has backed calls for an 80 mph limit on motorways. The motoring organisation has confirmed that a suggested pilot scheme for a limit of 80mph related only to certain controlled motorway sections, such as those that are in place on the M25 near Heathrow.

Pilot Suffers Mental Breakdown Mid-Flight
A stewardess helped make an emergency landing during an Air Canada flight to London from Toronto after a co-pilot suffered a mental breakdown. The co-pilot had to be wrestled out of the cockpit, restrained and sedated during the incident on January 28.

Two Britons Die In Light Aircraft Crash
The two Britons who died in a plane crash have been named as John Ritchie, 81, and Kevin Young, 54. According to reports, the Italian pilot and his wife were also killed when the light aircraft came down near Rovereto in the north west of the country yesterday. The passengers were on the return leg of their journey.

Pilot Survives Harrier Crash
A Royal Navy pilot has ejected to safety as the aircraft he was flying crashed near Ashwell yesterday. The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has confirmed that a Harrier GR7 aircraft crashed on farmland in Rutland just before 1.50pm.
