Man Injured In Kilcock Shooting
A man has been injured during a shooting incident in Kilcock on Tuesday night. Gardai in Leixlip in Kildare are investigating the circumstances of a shooting incident in the county on the December 6. The incident occurred between 11.45am and 12noon when a 25-year-old male who was sitting in his car at Brayton Park, Kilcock received gun shot injuries. He was taken to Blanchardstown hospital where he is being treated. The Gardai are appealing for witnesses who may have seen unusual or suspicious activity in a number of areas, including Brayton wood, where the incident took place before or after the time of the shooting. Meanwhile, Gardaí said a dark coloured car was found burnt out at Courtown Wood approximately 1km from the original scene. Gardai in Finglas investigating the seizure of €88,000 of Cannabis resin on Dec 5 have released two men without charge. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions. The female was charged and will appear before a sitting of Blanchardstown District Court at 10.30am on Wednesday morning. The male being questioned in relation to the discovery of a firearm and is still in custody.

Two men have been injured during a shooting incident in Dublin late on Tuesday evening. Gardai in Kilmainham said they were investigating the circumstances of the incident in Bluebell during which two men in their mid 40's and 20's were injured. The incident occurred at approx 11.15pm on Huband road, Bluebell Estate in Dublin. The two injured men were shot in a house on Huband Road. They were taken to St James Hospital for treatment. The house was sealed off for a technical examination. Shortly afterwards three males, aged 17, 31 and 33 years were arrested and are being detained under the provisions of the Offences Against the State Act at Kevin St, Kilmainham and Pearse St Garda Stations. Gardai are appealing for anyone who may have seen suspicious or unusual activity in the vicinity before of after the shooting or may have information in relation to the incident to contact them in Kilmainham Garda station on 01 6669700, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.

Man Arrested After Five-Year-Old Is Injured In Shooting Incident
An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the shooting of a five-year-old boy. The child was shot and seriously injured at his home in Essex. The boy has been taken to the Royal London Hospital at around 13.20 on Sunday. His injuries are believed to be serious but not life threatening.

The gunman who shot dead 32 people at a US college has been described as a loner, whose college work was "disturbing". Cho Seung-Hui, a 23-year-old from South Korea, who had been resident in the US since 1992, was an English student at Virginia Tech who lived on campus.

Gardaí investigating the fatal shooting of 27-year-old man in Dublin yesterday have found a firearm they believe was used in the killing. The victim was named as father-of-three Michael Kelly, of St Teresa's Gardens. His body was found by walkers at around 10:30 on ground by a popular walking route at the junction of Suir Road and Davitt Road.

A man has been shot in Berkshire as he opened his front door. It is understood that around 6pm on Sunday, two men knocked on the door of the property in Swancote Green, Easthampstead. The victim, who is said to be in his 30s, opened the door and was shot by one of the men. The suspects then fled the scene in the direction of Lyn Crescent.

Police were called to a house in Bishop's Stortford on Tuesday night around 9:40pm and found the victims - a 17-year-old boy and two men, aged 33 and 52. All three were pronounced dead at the scene.
