David then repeatedly kicked Mr Ebrahim in the stomach whilst he lay on the ground. Anisiu and David then stole cash and stamps to the approximate value of £11,700.
All three suspects then made off in a Ford Ka, along Churchill Road in the direction of Brunswick Park.
Officers attended the scene and recovered an imitation firearm.
Mr Ebrahim was taken to hospital in a serious condition, where he underwent treatment for abdominal injuries. He remained in intensive care for four days, and continues to receive specialist care.
