London Riots Teen Killer Sentenced
17-year-old Darrell Desuze has been sentenced to 8 years in jail for the murder of pensioner Richard Mannington Brown during last summer’s London riots.
Mr Bowes had been try to put out a fire in a dustbin near his home in Ealing, west London, when Desuze punched him to the ground.
The pensioner suffered brain damage and died three days later.
Desuze;s mother Lavinia was also sentenced to 18 months for perverting the course of justice by cutting up his clothes.
Man Found In Burning Car Named
The body of a man found in a burning car near Southampton has been named as, Agim Hoxha.
29-year-old crane driver Hoxha was found by emergency services in the back of his silver Mercedez, which had been set alight in Chilworth Drove, Chilworth last Tuesday.
Detectives are treating the death as murder and are searching for a Ford Mondeo, which also belonged to him.
Gas Fitter Get Three Years For Manslaughter
A gas fitter was given a three-year prison sentence for the manslaughter of a millionaire's daughter who died from carbon monoxide poisoning following his botched installation of a boiler.
Andrew Hartley, 37, fitted the new boiler into Zoe Anderson's Bath home less than two weeks before gas fumes overcame her.
Described as "simply the price he must pay", Judge Neil Ford QC said there were "absolutely no malicious or hostile intentions in this case" but the loss to Miss Anderson's family was "profound".

Child Killer 'Murdered' In Prison
Detectives are investigating the suspected murder of convicted child killer Colin Hatch at one of the UK's maximum-security prisons. Police reported that Hatch, 38, from Finchley died at Full Sutton jail in East Yorkshire on Tuesday.

A serial killer who fantasised about becoming movie murderer Freddy Krueger has been found dead at Broadmoor Hospital. The body of Daniel Gonzalez, 26, was discovered at around 8.30am yesterday. He was serving six life sentences after being convicted of stabbing four people to death and attempting to murder two others in September 2004.
