Stage C Buys The Hammersmith Apollo
HMV have sold entertainment venue the Hammersmith Apollo to American-German joint venture Stage C for £32m.
The famous 9,000-capacity venue which has held concerts by bands from The Beatles to Queen, was bought by entertainment retailer HMV in 2010.
HMV chief Simon Fox said: "The Hammersmith Apollo is an iconic London venue and it has been a privilege to own it over the last three years."

Boat Race Spectators Rescued By RNLI
The RNLI rescued more than 50 spectators who became trapped by the tide during the University Boat Race on Saturday. Spectators became stranded on the foreshore along Hammersmith, Chiswick and Barnes, including an eight-year-old child who had become separated from his parents.

£50m Rescue Deal For HMV
HMV is to be saved in a £50m deal. Around 2,500 jobs and around 130 stores will be rescued under the new deal, however final details are still to be confirmed. Hilco, the specialist restructuring firm, is expected to sign the agreement that will secure Britain's last remaining independent music retail chain.

HMV To Honour Gift Vouchers
HMV will again accept gift vouchers from Tuesday, according to administrators. Deloitte, who took over operations of the store last Tuesday, had previously said that gift cards would not be redeemed in stores. The administrator said it was now able to honour the vouchers following assessment of HMV's financial position.

Cyclist Critically Injured In Hammersmith Collision
Police have appealed for information after a cyclist was critically injured in a collision in Hammersmith. Police were called to New King's Road junction with Grimston Road, Hammersmith, at approximately 19:00hrs on Monday 9 November, to reports of two pedal cyclists in collision with each other.

Hammersmith Murder Victim Named
Police have named the victim of a murder in Hammersmith last week. The victim was 29-year-old Piotr Maculewicz, a Polish national. Around 7.15pm on Friday 11 March, police were called to a man unconscious in the forecourt area of Sulgrave Gardens, Sulgrave Road West London.
