Fresh Flood Alerts Issued Across UK
The Environment Agency has issued flood alerts in 31 areas of the UK, including 21 in south-east England, three in Wales and others in the Midlands and parts of northern England.
The Met Office has also warned of heavy rain in London and south and east England.
On Saturday around 1,000 people were moved to safety from flooding in mid Wales, with an estimated 150 rescued.
The flood alerts however only mean that floods are possible and there are no flood warnings, where floods are likely, in place at the moment.
Sinn Fein’s McGuinness Quits Westminster
Northern Irelands Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness is to resign as MP for Mid Ulster to concentrate on his job at Stormont.
Sinn Fein's four other MPs are to resign from their assembly seats as the party seeks to end 'double-jobbing'.
Party president Gerry Adams said this would avoid triggering a string of Westminster by-elections.
The four MPs resigning their Stormont seats will be replaced by co-option.
James Cordin Wins Tony Award
British actor James Corden has said he is "thrilled beyond words" at being named best leading actor at the Tony Awards in New York.
Corden was honoured for his role in One Man, Two Guvnors, which transferred from the West End to Broadway earlier this year.
He beat the favourite, Philip Seymour Hoffman in Death of a Salesman.
The musical Once scooped eight Tonys, including best musical direction and best lead actor in a musical.

Flood Alerts Follow Snowfall
The UK Environment Agency has issued flood warnings across Britain, following another night of heavy snow. Some parts of the country woke to over 10cm (4in) of snow on Monday morning. Most areas have been covered in a white blanket at least 5cm deep.

NAO Say Govt Flood Defence Spending 'Insufficient'
The National Audit Office (NAO) has warned that the UK's flood defences are likely to "deteriorate faster" as the money being spent on maintaining them is "insufficient". A report from the NAO claims that half of the country's defences received a "minimal level" of maintenance which was insufficient to secure homes.
