Chris Moyles Leaves Radio 1 Breakfast Show
Radio 1 breakfast show host, Chris Moyles, has announced he will leave the show at the end of September.
Presenting the show since 2004 the now 38-year-old became the stations longest serving breakfast show host in 2009.
Announcing the news, he said: "We're off. I wanted to let you know. A couple more months of us, then it's someone else's turn. Thank you for listening."
Chris Moyles is contracted at Radio 1 until New Year 2014 after signing a new two and a half year deal last July, and is understood to be in talks with the station about fronting a new show.
Radio 1 controller Ben Cooper said: "I'd like to thank Chris. Quite simply he's been the most successful breakfast show host in Radio 1 history.
"He's done it for more than eight and half years and he's been fantastic."

Chat show veteran Parkinson moves to ITV
ITV has signed up BBC chat show veteran Michael Parkinson on a two-year deal, it has emerged today. Mr Parkinson, who has hosted his eponymously-titled programme for 18 years, said that he decided to move to commercial broadcaster ITV after his Saturday night primetime slot was threatened by the return of Match of the Day.

Asian Radio Presenter Murdered
Police in Glasgow are investigation the "brutal" killing of a radio presenter at her home. Nasim Jamil, who worked for Asian radio station Awaz FM, was found by family in her Byres Road flat on Wednesday. Strathclyde Police said she had last been seen earlier in the day. A postmortem examination is currently underway on Ms Jamil's remains.
