Benefit Shake-Up 'Could Close Women's Refuges'
A charity that runs refuges for victims of domestic violence has warned it will have to close all its centres because of plans to change benefit rules.
The charity - Refuge - said the new universal credit will disadvantage them compared to how housing benefit currently works, leading to "the loss of 297 units of refuge accommodation across the country".

Coalition Is 'United' On Carbon Cuts - Clegg
Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg today dismissed claims of rifts within the coalition government over how to cut carbon emissions.
Mr Clegg was unveiling a £100m investment in energy efficiency, and said the UK was "leading from the front" in attempts to decarbonise energy production and fight climate change.
He said: "The coalition government is unreservedly committed to helping our low-carbon sector thrive - no ifs, no buts. It is sometimes presented in the press as if it is riddled with debate and division with regard to greening the economy. That isn't the case."
