Man Dies Of Suspected Heart Attack At Olympic Cycling Event
A man who planned to attend every day of the Olympics Games has died after a suspected heart attack while watching the cycling.
49-year-old Conrad Readman, from Colchester, had booked two weeks off work and had tickets for events on every day of the Olympics.
After watching the opening ceremony and many of Team GB's medal-winning moments, the 49-year-old visited the velodrome on Friday to watch Victoria Pendleton and the men's team pursuit.
He was discovered ill in the venue's toilets at 6.15pm. He was taken to hospital where he died.
The chartered accountant lived with and cared for his mother, Joan.

RMT Leader Funeral Held In London
The funeral has taken place of RMT union leader Bob Crow, who died aged 52 on 11 March. Thousands of people joined friends and colleagues who lined the route of the funeral procession for the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) general secretary, who's coffin was was carried in a horse-drawn carriage from his house in Woodford, east London.

Six Arrested Over Nottingham Street Brawl Death
Police investigating the death of a 19-year-old man in Nottingham have arrested six people. Joshua Bradley, of Bulwell, died following a suspected street fight in Thurland Street, on 08 February. Two men, aged 21 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Culture Secretary Revealed
The media, culture and sport have gained a new champion, as MP Jeremy Hunt was last week appointed Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport. Mr Hunt was first elected as to South West Surrey in May 2005 and was formerly Shadow Culture Secretary (2007-2010) and Shadow Minister for Disabled People (2005 - 2007).

London Olympics could face blackouts, poll suggests
The 2012 London Olympics could be hit by electricity blackouts, a poll of energy experts has suggested. The poll, conducted by energy company Mitsui Babcock, found that over three-quarters of leading energy experts in the UK cited blackouts during the Olympics as a "genuine threat".
