New Barlcays Chief Executive
Barclays has appointed Antony Jenkins as its new chief executive.
This follows the resignation of former chief executive Bob Diamond after the Libor interest rate-fixing scandal.
Mr Jenkins is currently in charge of Barclays Retail and Business Banking. He has been a member of the group's executive committee since 2009.
New Record Label For Elbow Singer
Elbow's Guy Garvey is set to begin a new record label solely for vinyl EPs. He aims use it to revive the format.
The singer told the BBC he intends to challenge fellow artists to try out the multi-track format.

Boeing Chief Executive Harry Stonecipher has stepped down from his post following a request for his resignation from the company. Mr Stonecipher's resignation followed a company investigation into "a personal relationship" with a female executive of the company, who did not report directly to him.

BSkyB meet to appoint Chief Executive
BSkyB senior executives are due to vote later today on the appointment of a successor to the company's outgoing Chief Executive Tony Ball. However, there is speculation that News Corporation boss Rupert Murdoch, may be prevented from voting for his son James as the row over the appointment of a new Chief Executive BSkyB continues.

Further Fall In Sales For Morrisons
Morrisons has reported a further fall in sales. According to the supermarket chain, in the 13 weeks to 1 November, like-for-like sales – which excludes fuel – fell by 2.6%. Morrisons said the decline is due to a reduction in the number of its promotional vouchers, which had affected sales in the third quarter by some 2.4%.

4.7 Million Suffer Depression New Figures Show
There has been a half a million increase in just three years of the number of people suffering with depression in England, according to an analysis of NHS data. The total number for 2010-11 stood at 4.7 million people. Data analysis firm SSentif said there was also a large increase in the number of prescriptions for anti-depressants.
