One Direction Win US Name Battle
One Direction have won a legal dispute to keep their band name.
An American punk group maintained that they had called themselves One Direction first.
One Direction US sued the British boy band for $1million in damages sought a share of their' royalties.
The groups issued a joint press release announcing the change of the American band's name.
One Direction US will now be called Uncharted Shores, while the UK group hold on to the One Direction name.
Both groups say they are "happy with the outcome".

George Awarded Damages Over 'Obsession'
The man cleared of murdering TV presenter Jill Dando after spending seven years in jail has won damages over newspaper claims. Barry George brought the case over claims that he was obsessed with singer Cheryl Cole and newsreader Kay Burley. The claims were made in the Sunday Mirror, the People and on the Daily Mirror website in 2008.

New Direction For 'The Doctor' As Davies Signs Off
The writer and producer of celebrated sci-fi series 'Doctor Who' is stepping down. Russell T Davies, 45, was responsible for bringing the much loved cult drama back to the small screen in 2005. Steven Moffat who has just written the screenplay for 'Tintin' will replace Davies.

Police and other emergency services are dealing with a fatal collision involving a coach in the Looe area this afternoon, Tuesday 13 May. At around 1pm police officers were called to the A387 at Morval, around three miles from Looe, to reports that a coach had collided with a wall.

Ratings Agency Warns Of Potential Credit Downgrade
Credit ratings agency, Fitch, has joined Moody’s in putting the UK’s top AAA rating on “negative outlook”. The UK could be downgraded in the next few years warned Fitch Ratings if the government does not act on the level of public debt. The warning comes a week before George Osborne is due to deliver this year’s budget.
