Child ‘Still Critical’ After Harlow House Fire
A three-year-old girl remains in a critical condition and her father "very poorly" after an Essex house fire that killed four children and their mother.
Sabah Usmani, a doctor, and her sons Sohaib, 11, and Rayyan, six, and daughter Hira, 13, died at their end-of-terrace home in Harlow on Monday.
A third son, Muneeb, nine, and daughter Maheen, three, were rescued and taken to hospital, where Muneeb later died.
Essex Police said the fire was being treated as suspicious.
Missile Sites Get Listed Status
Two Cold War nuclear missile sites are to get listed status to mark the 50th anniversary of the Cuban Missile crisis.
The former RAF sites - in Harrington, Northamptonshire, and North Luffenham, Rutland - are the most intact examples of Thor missile bases in England.
They were put on alert as the Soviet Union and the US came to the brink of nuclear war in October 1962.
The Thor missile site at the former RAF North Luffenham, Rutland, has been given a Grade II* listing.
And the site at former RAF Harrington, Northamptonshire, has been listed as Grade II.
Publication Of Prince Charles Letters Blocked
Attorney General Dominic Grieve has blocked the release of private letters the Prince of Wales sent to seven government departments.
A court ruled last month that the correspondence should be published.
But Mr Grieve said it was an exceptional case where the letters formed part of the prince's "preparations for kingship".
Publishing the "frank" views would "seriously undermine" his ability to fulfil his duties as King.
However, the Republic group called the ruling an "affront to democracy" which was "all about protecting Charles and the royal family from scrutiny".
