UK Reputation At Stake Over Prisoner Votes
The government's senior law officer has warned the UK could suffer damage to its "enviable" reputation if it fails to abide by a European Court ruling saying prisoners must get the vote.
Attorney General Dominic Grieve said it would be seen as "a move away from our strict adherence to human rights laws".
The government is negotiating with the court, but Mr Grieve said there was "flexibility" over action needed.
Most coalition MPs and Labour oppose giving prisoners the vote.
Dior Ad Banned For Airbrushing
The advertising watchdog has banned a beauty ad for Christian Dior featuring Black Swan actor Natalie Portman for being airbrushed.
Portman appeared in a magazine ad promoting a mascara, accompanied by the boast that the product delivers a "spectacular volume-multiplying effect, lash by lash".
Rival L'Oreal lodged a complaint with the Advertising Standards Authority that the ad "misleadingly exaggerated the likely effects of the product".
Welsh Government Given Borrowing Powers
The Welsh government has reached agreement with the UK coalition allowing it limited powers to borrow money to finance major schemes.
It would be conditional on a new income stream being available such as taxes - something the Silk Commission's inquiry into future devolution is looking at.
It follows talks between ministers in Cardiff and the Treasury over funding.
The Welsh government has been calling for the powers so it can raise money to spend on big capital projects.
