Hurricane Sandy Flight Disruption Continues
Disruptions caused by hurricane Sandy continue for passengers hoping to fly to the US east coast.
Heathrow Airport has cancelled 84 flights since the storm began on Monday.
Airlines such as British Airways, United and Virgin flights are offering passengers the opportunity to rebook or get a refund.
If you intend to travel you must check the flight status before departure.
The US East coast continues to be battered by hurricane-strength winds.
New York City has been hit by a record surge of seawater.
Sandy has caused 16 deaths in several states.

Flight Disruption Continues To Hit Travellers
There was limited volcanic ash disruption to flights to and from the UK today. Scores of UK air passengers are still facing further delays caused by the volcanic ash cloud that has halted many European flights. Flights to and from parts of Spain, Portugal, Morocco and the Canary Islands have been affected after the countries closed their airspace.

The world’s largest commercial aircraft, the Airbus A380, has successfully completed its first test flight. The A380 landed at Blagnac International airport in Toulouse, France at 14:23 local time, following a flight that lasted almost four hours.
