Man Found Guilty Of Killing Former BBC Journalist
A man has been found guilty of the manslaughter if former BBC Scotland journalist Phillip Cottrell.
Nicho Waipuka, 20, admitted punching Mr Cottrell, which caused him to fall and hit his head, during a fight in Wellington in December last year,
Mr Cotrell, 43, was making his way home from the offices of Radio New Zealand, where he worked as a news editor.

Veteran journalist dies in northern Iraq
Veteran Channel 4 news journalist Gaby Rado has died after he apparently fell from the roof of his hotel in northern Iraq on Saturday. It is thought that his death was unconnected with military activity in the area.

Militants claim to have killed BBC journalist
Concern was mounting last night for BBC journalist, Alan Johnston, after an unknown militant group claimed to have killed him. The BBC said they were "deeply concerned". In a statement released yesterday, The Brigades of Tawheed and Jihad said they killed him to support demands of Palestinian prisoners held by Israel.
