Dappy Found Guilty Of Affray
Dappy, the former N-Dubz rapper, has been found guilty of affray and one count of assault.
The 25-year-old appeared at Guildford Crown Court in Surrey with two other men.
The court heard that Dappy sparked a "mob-handed attack" when he spat at Grace Cochran and Serena Burton, both 19, at a Shell garage in Guildford on 28 February last year.
Sentencing was adjourned until February 15.
2014 Tour de France Comes To UK
Three stages of the 2014 Tour de France will be held in the UK, taking in the London 2012 Olympic Park and finishing on the Mall after two stages in Yorkshire.
Leeds hosts the Grand Depart on 5 July, with the stage taking in the Yorkshire Dales before finishing in Harrogate.
Stage two of the 101st Tour starts in York and passes through Keighley and Huddersfield on the way to Sheffield.
The race last visited the UK in 2007, when London hosted the prologue and the opening stage.
Protest Allowed To Leave And Return To Burrow
As temperatures fell a man protesting a controversial new road scheme in East Sussex was allowed to leave his burrow to warm up – and return the next morning.
Security staff stood aside as the activist – known as Simon Sitting Bull – left the tunnel to warm up. Next morning they let him back in so that he could resume his protest.
Campaigners, who are trying to stop land being cleared for the £93m Hastings to Bexhill link road, praised what they called a modern version of the first world war Christmas truces when British and German soldiers put down their weapons to greet and meet their enemies.

Tour Of Britain 2015 Route Unveiled
The route for the Tour of Britain 2015 has been unveiled. The tour will begin in Anglesey on 6 September and take in eight stages before finishing in London on 13 September. Anglesey is the host venue for the opening stage and marks the first time in the race's history where it has started in Wales.

Rihanna Cancels Three UK Concerts
R&B singer Rihanna has been forced to pull out of three UK shows. The 19-year-old Barbados-born singer had been due to play at the NEC Arena in Birmingham tonight, but was forced to cancel the gig on doctor's orders. A planned concert in Bournemouth on Tuesday has also been cancelled, while a concert in Nottingham on Saturday was also called off.

CBI Says UK Is In Early Stages Of Recession
The UK is in the early stages of a technical recession, the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) said today. In its latest forecast a shallow recession through the second half of 2008 means that growth in the economy in 2009 will be the lowest since 1992.

The 20-year-old Manchester United star returned to Manchester for a scan on his broken metatarsal, which was fractured in a Premiership match against Chelsea in April.
