Reg Presley Of The Troggs Dies
Reg Presley has passed away aged 71.
As the lead singer of 60s British rock band The Troggs he was the voice of a number of hit songs.
Reg died at his home in Hampshire surrounded by his family.
The singer had suffered a succession of recent strokes and was battling lung cancer.
Wild Thing and Love Is All Around were two of the bands popular singles.
BBC 6 Music presenter Marc Riley paid tribute saying "He was... so engaging and, at the same time, having been so influential, he was so humble and so likeable."

Soul singer Wilson Pickett dies
Veteran US soul singer Wilson Pickett has died at the age of 64. The star, who was famous for hits such as 'In The Midnight Hour' and 'Mustang Sally', suffered a heart attack in Virginia. His management said that he had suffered from ill health for the past year.
