Man dies after falling overboard from yacht
A police investigation has been launched into the death of a man who fell overboard from his yacht on the Pembrokeshire coast this morning.
The man was knocked overboard during "atrocious" weather before being rescued by yachtcrew and coastguard.
Coastguards were scrambled to the scene, and airlifted the man to Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest, where he was pronounced dead.
It followed a frantic 15 minute rescue in which two other yachtsmen suffered injuries to their chest and hands.
Two other people were left aboard the 80ft yacht, which was then towed into Milford Haven by a lifeboat. It is believed the crew were heading to an exhibition when the incident took place.
