Young Teen Charged With Attempted Murder
A 14-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder following the stabbing of another 14-year-old boy on Monday at an address in Ladywell, near Catford.
Youth workers administered first aid to the young teen, who is thought to have been attacked after leaving a nearby youth centre, before paramedics arrived.
Police have said the youth workers may have saved the teens life, who is in a critical but stable condition.
Two other boys, aged 14 and 15, were arrested but later released on bail pending further inquiries.
The stabbing came a day after 16-year-old Peter Hagan was stabbed to death in the stairwell of a block of flats just a few miles away in Wandsworth, south London.
