Woman Assaulted In Gasgow Park

A woman has been sexually assaulted in Glasgow's Queen's Park.

The incident occurred at about 00:30 on Sunday morning between Torrisdale Street and Queen's Drive.

No description of the attacker has been made available.

Three In Hospital After South Wales Crash

Three people are being treated in hospital following a crash involving two cars in Monmouthshire, South Wales.

Emergency services arrived at the scene shortly before 14:30 on Sunday.

Firefighters cut one person free from the crash, which happened on the B4245 in Caldicot.

Two other people were also taken to hospital by ambulance.

Road Collapses Into Stream

A section of road in Dumfries and Galloway has collapsed into a stream.

The A708 Moffat to Selkirk Road near Grey Mare's Tail is currently shut.

It is thought the collapse occurred as a result of subsidence caused by extreme weather conditions.

A diversion has been set up via Blyth Bridge, Peebles and Innerleithen.

52 Pets Rescued From House Fire

Three people and 52 pets have been rescued from a fire at a house in Plymouth.

The fire is thought to have begun in the house on Fullarton Road at about 16:30 on Sunday evening.

The RSPCA were contacted to give advice on dealing with the family pets.

An elderly couple was treated at Derriford Hospital. Another woman in the house was unhurt.

The RSPCA will now temporarily care for the family's 52 pets.

UK Property Prices 'Still Falling'
House prices in the three months to October were 1.2% lower than in the preceding three months, according to the Halifax. The financial services provider, part of the Lloyds Banking Group, said prices in October were 2.3% lower than at the end of 2009 on a seasonally adjusted basis (-1.2% unadjusted).

Twenty Three Injured In Tour Coach Crash
Twenty three people required hospital treatment after a tour coach came off the road and overturned on the A83 in Argyll. It is understood there were 51 people on board the bus at the time of the crash, with the injured being treated at three NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde hospitals.

Brian Farmer Murder - Three Charged
Three people have been charged with the murder of former soldier Brian Farmer in Yardley, Birmingham last year. 64-year-old Mr Farmer was found dead by police at his flat in Bakeman House on Coventry Road on Saturday 19 May, 2012. Police arrested three people in connection with the murder a short time after the discovery.

Reid gives 'green light' for £4bn PFI hospital deal
The 'green light' has been given for 15 new NHS hospital developments in a Private Finance Initiative (PFI) deal worth more than £4 billion, it has been announced today. Today's announcement will bring investment in new NHS hospitals to more than £16 billion since 1997, the health department said.
