Fly-by Marks Dambuster 70th Anniversary
A Lancaster bomber has performed a flypast over Derwent reservoir to mark the 70th anniversary of the historic World War II raid on German dams.
The Derwert reservoir was one of the sites where pilots practised dangerous low-flying ahead of their mission.
The RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and 617 Squadron flew over the dam in Derbyshire's Hope Valley.
BBC To Apologise To Veteran Charity
The BBC is to apologise for a Newsnight report about military charity Help for Heroes that gave the false impression it was responsible for shortcomings in support offered to wounded veterans.
A BBC investigation found the report in August 2012 was misleading and unfair.
The apology to Help for Heroes will be broadcast on TV and radio later.
David Beckham To Retire
David Beckham is to retire from football at the end of the current season, BBC Sport has reported.
The former England captain made 115 appearances for England and 394 for Manchester United, winning six Premier League titles and the Champions League.
In January the 38-year-old signed a five-month deal at Paris St-Germain, donating all of his salary to charity.

Former BBC Director-General Greg Dyke has said that he was shocked that the Hutton Report was "so black and white" and has claimed that the report's conclusions were "quite clearly wrong". In an outspoken interview on GMTV Mr Dyke also attacked Tony Blair's former press chief Alastair Campbell for being "remarkably ungracious".

Man Admits £300,000 Help For Heroes Charity Collection Fraud
A man from Devon has admitted stealing £300,000 from the Help for Heroes charity. Christopher Copeland, 51, used teams of volunteers to take part in bogus charity collections. He told the volunteers he was collecting the money for Help for Heroes, however he was actually putting the money collected into his own bank account.
