Nissan Recall Micra's Between 2002-2006
Almost 140,000 Nissan Micra’s are to be recalled in the UK over a faulty steering wheel.
The car manufacturer is recalling some 841,000 cars worldwide. The model being recalled was built between 2002-2006.
It is understood the fault is a bolt in the steering wheel, which has been discovered wasn’t properly secured, however Nissan have said that there is no danger of a sudden failure.
The manufacturer said that drivers of the car will notice if the steering wheel has become loose, and that is plans to either tighten the screw properly or replace the steering wheel altogether.
This follows a recall earlier this month also by Nissan over a defect in passenger airbags.
