Man Admits Cardiff Hit-And-Runs
A 31-year-old man has admitted manslaughter on grounds of diminished responsibility in connection with the hit-and-run death of Karina Manzies in Cardiff last year.
Ms Menzies (31) was walking with her children near Ely fire station on Cowbridge Road West when Matthew Tvrdon deliberately drove into them in a white van, he then turned around and ran over Ms Menzies a second time.
13 people where hurt at five different locations in Cardiff.
Alongside the manslaughter charge, Tvrdon admitted seven counts of attempted murder, but denied one charge of murder and six other counts of attempted murder.

The Soham murder trial, which was due to begin hearing closing arguments today, has been adjourned after a juror fell ill. A decision on how and when the trial will proceed will be made pending a doctor's report.

Full Body Scanners To Be Installed In Nine More UK Airports
Full body security scanners are to be introduced at another nine UK airports, the government has announced. The move brings the total number of airports operating full body scanners to 19. The full body security scanners penetrate clothing, producing a naked image of passengers allowing security staff to check if they are concealing anything.

4G Launches In The UK
4G mobile internet has been launched across 11 UK cities today. Phone owners in London, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield, Glasgow and Southampton on the EE network will have access to 4G, meaning they can surf the web up to five times faster than 3G.

Kirsty Williams has been named as the Welsh Liberal Democrats' new leader, making her the first female party leader in the country's Assembly Government. The Brecon and Radnorshire AM will replace Mike German after beating Cardiff Central AM Jenny Randerson, taking 60% of the vote.
