River Search Resumes For 16-Year-Old
The search for a missing teenage boy who was swept into a river in Perth on Sunday has resumed.
Friends of the missing 16-year-old raised the alarm just before 19:30 on Sunday night. It is understood that the boy got into difficulties while trying to cross the River Tay at North Muirton.
Police in North Ayrshire are also checking a river following a report of a girl being seen in the water.
It is understood that a child reported seeing a girl, or about 10, with long dark hair and glass in the River Garnock at Kilbirnie.
Police have said that while no children have been reported missing, they are taking the report seriously.

Body Found In River Following Search For Missing Boy
A body has been found from the River Great Ouse in Cambridgeshire by police searching for a missing boy, believed to be 15-years-old. The boy went missing in the river near Church Lane in Harford on Thursday afternoon. The death is not being treated as suspicious.

Search Operation Launched For Missing Snorkeler
A large-scale search operation has been launched on the Helford River, near Falmouth, for a missing snorkeler. The snorkeler, a man aged in his 20s, is understood to have been missing since Thursday evening. According to reports, the man had gone out alone at about 19:00, wearing a dry suit and a weight belt.

River Search Continues For Missing Schoolboy
The search operation for missing schoolboy Cameron Comey has entered its seventh day. The 11-year-old has not been seen since falling into the Carmarthen river one week ago. Extensive searches have been carried in the river and along its banks, but so far there has been no sign of the boy.
