Bodies Uncovered At Edinburgh Hotel During 'Chemical Incident'
Emergency services responding to an ongoing chemical incident have uncovered the bodies of a man and woman at the Scotsman Hotel on North Bridge, Edinburgh.
Some 20 fire-fighters remain at the scene of the incident, which began at around 12:15 this afternoon. The sixth floor of the hotel was evacuated and the immediate vicintity around the hotel has been cordoned off, but Police Scotland have said that there is not thought to be any further danger to staff or guests of the hotel.
The death of the man and woman are being treated as "unexplained".

Two Arrested Over Cornwall Hotel Fire Deaths
Police investigating a fatal hotel blaze in Cornwall in which three people died have arrested two men. The men, aged 44 and 21, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and have been taken to a police station in Cornwall for questioning. The fire broke out at the Penhallow Hotel in Newquay on August 18 last year.

A British woman in Agra, India has claimed harassment by the owner of her hotel forced her to jump from a balcony to escape the hotel. Local police have said that a woman, in her 30s, reported that the owner of the hotel she was staying at offered her a massage when he knocked on her door for her requested 04:00 wake up call, according to the BBC.

Church Asked To Support Fast-Track Women Bishops Law
The first woman bishop in the Church of England could be appointed by Christmas. The general synod supports the legislation to fast-track the revision of the latest proposals and to reduce the time given to individual dioceses. This could lead to a final vote in July with the legislation approved by November.
