Fresh Allegations Made Against Scottish Catholic School
A number of fresh allegations of abuse have been reported following the broadcast of BBC investigation into a former Catholic school in the Highlands.
Police Scotland launched an investigation last week after the BBC reported finding evidence of sexual and pyhsical abuse of children at the Fort Augustus Abbey School.
Police Scotland said: "This remains a live inquiry. We are investigating reports of alleged abuse from pupils, and inquiries will extent to liaising with a number of law enforcement agencies both across and outwith the UK."
The Catholic Church this morning issued an apology for what happened at the school.
