Nine To Be Charged In Operation Elveden Prosecution
Former managing editor of The Sun newspaper is to be charged along with eight other people for the alleged selling of information.
Graham Dudman will be charged in connection with authorising payments to public officials.
Grieg Box Turnbull, a former Daily Mirror journalist, two other Sun journalists, a police officer and an employee of Broadmoor hospital will all face charges as a result of Operation Elveden, the Metropolitan Police's investigation into allegations involving the unlawful provision of information by public officials to journalists.
The nine accused will appear before Westminster Magistrates Court on 5 September.

Prison Officer Arrested In Operation Elveden
Officers from the Operation Elveden investigation have arrested a serving prison officer. The 40-year-old man was arrested at 8.30am on Monday in Sittingbourne, Kent, on suspicion of conspiracy to cause misconduct in a public office. This is the 58th arrest by the Met's inquiry into payments from journalists to police and public officials.

A former police officer has been jailed for committing misconduct in public office over a period of more than 10 years. Simon Quinn, 43, of Horsham, West Sussex was arrested in April 2013, under Operation Elveden.

Former Police Constable Charged Over Misconduct
A former police constable with Surrey Police is to be charged with two offences of committing misconduct in public office over allegations he sold information to the Sun newspaper. 23 Charged With Drug Offences Following Raids
More than 20 people have been charged with drug offences following a number of raids carried out in London, Gravesend, Dover and Deal. A total of 23 people were arrested during twenty raids carried out over three days. The suspects, ranging in age from 17 to 52, have all been charged in connection with the supply of class A drugs.
