Man Stabbed And Robbed For Grand Theft Auto V
In north London, a man was hit with a brick, stabbed and robbed of the game Grand Theft Auto V.
Police have said that the 23-year-old was making his way home at around 1.20am on Tuesday after buying the game, which was released at midnight.
He is in a stable condition in hospital.
No-one has been arrested over the attack and police have appealed for information.
Prof Stephen Hawking In Support Of Assisted Suicide
In an interview the BBC, Professor Stephen Hawking has said that he supports assisted suicide for people with terminal illnesses.
"We don't let animals suffer, so why humans?", Prof Hawkings said adding that there must safeguards to prevent abuse.
He said: "There must be safeguards that the person concerned genuinely wants to end their life and they are not being pressurised into it or have it done without their knowledge or consent as would have been the case with me."
Professor Hawking was once on a life support machine, which his wife was given the option of switching off.
Appeal For Hillsborough Witnesses To Contact IPCC
A new investigation into the Hillsborough disaster has urged witnesses to the tragedy to come forward and be re-interviewed.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) have launched the fresh investigation, saying that it is the biggest undertaken into police conduct in England and Wales.
The match against Nottingham Forest was held at Sheffield Wednesday's Hillsborough stadium on 15 April 1989. Ninety-five fans died on the day and another died of his injuries four years later.

Over 1,000 Police Names Passed to IPCC In Hillsborough Investigation
1,444 serving and former police officers have been passed to the Independent Police Complaints Commission as part of its investigation into the Hillsborough disaster. Keith Vaz, the Home Affairs Committee chairman, told MPs the "huge number" had been revealed to him in a letter from South Yorkshire Police's chief constable.

The Chief Constable of South Yorkshire Police, David Crompton, has indicted that officers involved in the Hillsborough disaster may be refer to the police watchdog over possible charges. Crompton said the force was looking into a number of issues to refer to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).

Stephen Hawking 'Very Ill' In Hospital
One of the world's leading scientists, Stephen Hawking, is understood to be "very ill" in hospital. Professor Hawking, 67, who has motor neurone disease, had "been unwell for a couple of weeks". A spokesman for his employer Cambridge University, said he was undergoing tests at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge.

Community police officer remains critically ill
A police community support officer remains in a critical condition in a Greater Manchester hospital after being stabbed in the neck. Greater Manchester Police said that Gary Etchells, 47, had twice undergone surgery at Tameside General Hospital and was now back in intensive care.
