Ikea Contract Helps Welsh Furniture Company Create 200 Jobs
Some 200 jobs could be created at a Welsh sofa firm after it secured a five-year deal with Ikea.
Flintshire-based Westbridge Furniture Design said that 60 staff have already been added to the company following the contract and they hope to expand that up to 200 in the next year.
The company currently employs some 650 people at its two factories.
Over 50 Treated After Coolant Leak In Southampton
A suspected gas leak at a retail park in Southampton has left more than 50 people requiring treatment, emergency services have said.
Shoppers and staff at a Sainsbury's supermarket and a Marks and Spencer store at Hedge End were evacuated after reports of people feeling unwell at around 5pm on Tuesday.
The scene was declared safe around 6.30pm.
Emergency services say they think a coolant system may have leaked.
Edinburgh Tram Ticket Prices Revealed
The pricing system for the new Edinburgh tram system has been unveiled, with a single fare to Gogarburn costing £1.50 for adults and 70p for children.
Travelling further to Ingliston or Edinburgh Airport will cost more, at £2.50 for an adult single and £1.50 for a child.
An airport return will be priced at £7.50 for adults and £4 for children.
The local council have said that the main priority was to integrate the cost of tram tickets with bus tickets.

ONS Figures Show Homicide At Lowest rate For 30 Years
The homicide rate in England and Wales has fallen to its lowest level in nearly 30 years, figures from the Office for National Statistics show. 550 homicides were recorded in 2011-12, 88 fewer than the previous year and the lowest number since 1983.

'Recycling Lottery' proposed to aid environment
The National Consumer Council (NCC) has proposed that a "recycling lottery' should be introduced in the UK, in order to help boost recycling and encourage people to be more 'environmentally friendly'. Under the plans, people would have the chance to win a major cash prize, through a prize draw, which would use recycled products as tickets.

More than 2,000 people have put in offers on homes under the Help to Buy scheme, totalling £365 million of new mortgage lending. The applications are backed by a 'decision in principle' by RBS and Lloyds, the first two participating banks, for 95 per cent mortgages. Ten of the 2,384 applications have already completed.
