Hospital Delivers Traveller Departure Deadline
Royal Gwent Hospital has set a deadline of 16:00 for a group of French travellers to leave a staff car park, or legal proceedings will begin.
The travellers, understood to be Romany families from France appeared in the staff car park on Saturday.
Talks between hospital security and spokespeople for the travellers had initially agreed that they would "move on shortly".
However, on day four of the occupation, the hospital has promised to begin legal action if they don't leave by 16:00 today.
Thorpe Park Defend Asylum Halloween Maze
Thorpe Park has defended Halloween themed attraction, which critics have said stigmatises mental illness.
The Asylum maze has been part of Thorpe Park's annual Fright Nights for more than eight years, however a petition has called for the attraction to be shut down.
Campaigners claim having actors chasing people around an asylum stigmatises mental ill health, but Thorpe Park has said that the maze is not Offensive "or a realistic portrayal of a mental health institution.
Buyer Sought For Grangemouth
A buyer is being sought for the Grangemouth refinery and petrochemicals plant.
The Scottish government is trying to find a buyer for the plant with Finance Secretary John Swinney saying that talks are ongoing.
The plant has been temporarily closed due to a dispute between owners Ineos and union Unite.

Elderly Woman Dies After Mugging
A murder investigation is underway after an elderly woman died after a mugging in north-west London. The 81-year-old, who has not yet been named, suffered fatal injuries after the suspect grabbed her handbag. She died from her injuries in Northwick Park Hospital eight hours after the incident.

Army Officer Arrested Over Sandhurst Cadet Attack
An army officer has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a female cadet was found with critical injuries. The 22-year-old female cadet was taken to Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey on Thursday morning with serious head injuries. It is believed she had fallen from the third floor of the military academy in Camberley.

Company admits trial drug caused side effects in monkeys
The drug which has left six men seriously ill in hospital during a trial caused glands in two monkeys to swell during earlier tests, it has been revealed. However, TeGenero, the German company that manufactured the TGN1412 drug, said that the symptoms shown by the monkeys differed from those suffered by the men during the trial last week.

The 'green light' has been given for 15 new NHS hospital developments in a Private Finance Initiative (PFI) deal worth more than £4 billion, it has been announced today. Today's announcement will bring investment in new NHS hospitals to more than £16 billion since 1997, the health department said.
