Woman Dies After Falling From The Third Floor In Primark

A woman has died after falling from the third floor of a Primark store in Liverpool.

Merseyside Police have reported that a 57-year-old was found next to escalators on the ground floor of the store on Church Street at around 18:00 on Tuesday evening. She had been seen moments at a balcony on the third floor.

The fall is estimated to have been about 100ft, or 30m.

The woman, who has not yet been named, was treated by paramedics at the scene but died a short time later at Royal Liverpool Hospital.

A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out today.

Police Appeal For Witnesses To Man's Fall In Plymouth
Police in Plymouth have said that a man, believed to be in his 30s, is being treated in hospital for head injuries after falling from a top floor flat. It is believed that the man fell some 30ft from a window on Davenport road, in the Stoke area, at about 21:00 on Tuesday. The man is being treated at Derriford Hospital.

Mum And Daughter Murder Arrest
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, after a mother and daughter were stabbed to death in east London. The body of a woman in her 40s was found in Stansfield Road in Beckton around 7.30am. Officers investigating that incident were led to a property in Leamouth Road through identity documents discovered on the victim.

Suspicious Coventry Death Appeal
Policing investigating the suspicious death of a man in the Radford area of Coventry have named the deceased as Kevin Lowry. Mr Lowry, 54, lived in Coventry but had connections in the Kenilworth area, according to officers. Police were called to Nauls Mill House in Middleborough Road, Radford at around half past midnight on Monday.

Teenagers Found "Safe And Well"
Police have found two teenager with learning difficulties who went missing in Glasgow. Reece Allen, 15, and Kelvin Conway, 19, disappeared on Saturday evening from Morion Road, Knightswood. Strathclyde Police found Reece in the city on Sunday evening. Kelvin was discovered in the city centre on Monday at around 11.

Arrest Follows Sheffield Bodies Find
A man has been arrested following the discovery of the bodies of a man and woman in a house in Sheffield. The bodies of the 34-year-old woman and 46-year-old man were found in a ground floor room of the house in Wath Road, in the Nether Edge area of the city, shortly after 10.30pm on Monday night.
