Dog Owners Warned To Keep Animals Off West Cornwall Beaches

A warning has been issued to dog owners to stay away from west Cornwall beaches.

The warning comes after the death of a dog that ate a "glutinous" substance washed up on beaches across west Cornwall.

Penzance vets said the three-year-old miniature schnauzer had eaten a white object on Long Rock beach on Tuesday.

Two other dogs are seriously ill after eating the same substance on beaches in the area, vets have said.
