Woman Denies Causing The Death Of Her Sister
A woman from Bridlington has pleaded not guilty to causing the death of her sister in a car collision.
Rosie-Ann Stone, 20, to a charge of causing the death of Jennie Stone by careless driving at Hull Crown Court today.
Stone was prosecuted after her sister's car struck a tree on the A165. She died of fatal head injuries.
It is believed the defendant was driving her own car when the incident occurred.

Michael Philbert, of Constable Mews, Bromley, pleaded guilty at Woolwich Crown Court to causing death by dangerous driving. He was sentenced to 18 months' imprisonment and disqualified from driving for three years.

A 60-year-old man from the London area has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, following yesterday's M1 motorway pile up in which five people died. Police investigating the incident have established that the first collision occurred on the northbound carriageway of the M1 in Leicestershire at about 7.
