New Search Conducted For Teenager Swept Out To Sea
A fresh search has been carried out for 14-year-old Dylan Alkins, who was swept out to sea from an East Sussex beach last month.
The teenager was last seen on October 27, playing in the surf at Newhaven's West Beach, East Sussex.
It is understood that divers carried out a new search of Newhaven Harbour on Tuesday but could not go out again today (Wednesday) due to the weather conditions.
The force expects to resume its search next week "depending on weather and sea conditions".

Air-and-sea search called off for missing father
A massive air-and-sea search for a man whose two-year-old son was found in the English Channel has been called off. However, a Sussex Police specialist search team and the West Sussex Fire and Rescue Technical Rescue Team will continue to search the coast for 50-year-old Alan Watkins for a further 24 hours.

River Search Continues For Missing 11-Year-Old
A major search operation is continuing for an 11-year-old boy who fell into the River Towy in Carmarthen. The operation was launched at about 16:00 on Tuesday when it was reported the boy had gone into the river.

Two Arrested Over Hastings Pier Blaze
As firefighters continue to battle the blaze on Hastings pier in East Sussex, two men have been arrested on suspicion of arson. East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, who spent most of the night trying to control the fire, said around 95% of the Victorian pier has been destroyed. There are no reports of any injuries.

Search scaled down for missing Dorset boy
A search for a teenage boy missing since he and a friend capsized in a stolen rowing boat is being scaled down. Kyle Moore and his friend, both aged 14, are understood to have stolen the rowing boat from Portland Harbour in the early hours of Sunday morning.
