All Remaining Blockbuster Stores To Close
All remaining Blockbuster stores are to close after the DVD and games rental business failed to attract a buyer.
The announcement comes after the rental chain confirmed it had entered into administration for a second time in October 2013.
Administrators Moorfields Corporate Recovery announced that all stock will be sold by 15 December, with prices being reduced by up to 90%, and that all stores will now close on 16 December.
It is not clear of what the outcome will be for the 808 staff still employed by the chain.
