Anglesey Salt And West County Meat Given EU Status
Anglesey Sea Salt and West County beef and lamb are the latest British foods to be granted EU protection.
Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) status has been awarded to born and reared in six counties in the south west.
Anglesey Sea Salt has been given Protected Designation of Origin status.
The foods join more than 60 UK foods already EU protected, including Cornish clotted cream and Melton Mowbray pies,
Police Officers To Trial New Body Cameras
A number of police officers across the UK are the trial body cameras.
Some 360 officers from Gwent Police will wear the on-body camera technology after being awarded £155,000 as one of six forces chosen to test the new system.
The force's police and crime commissioner said the technology should strengthen criminal cases and protect police from wrongful accusations.
Solider Jailed For Theft And Attempted Sale Of Night Vision Equipment
A solider has been jailed after admitting the theft of 28 hi-tech night vision kits from a military base.
29-year-old Sgt Maj Steven Barratt, 29, from Liverpool, attempted to sell the stolen kits on eBay.
Barratt, who was dishonourably discharged from the Army last month, was jailed for 20 months.

Policing experts are traveling to Iraq today to advise on the stabilisation of the security situation and to participate in a review on how to rebuild the Iraqi police service. The team of four will be led by Chief Constable of Hampshire - and Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) international portfolio holder - Paul Kernaghan.
