Ian Brady In Hospital After Fracturing Hip In Fall
Moors murderer Ian Brady has been taken to hospital after suffering two broken bones.
Brady, 76, is believed to have fallen and fractured his hip at Ashworth Hospital, the high-security psychiatric institution.
An Ashworth spokesperson said: "Ian Brady, aged 76, a patient at Ashworth Hospital, was admitted to a general hospital yesterday for treatment for two broken bones suffered following a fall.
"He remained in hospital overnight and his condition today is stable."
