Royal Mail Report Like-For-Like Revenue Increase
Royal Mail has reported a 2% rise in like-for-like revenue in the nine months to 29 December.
The firm's chief executive Moya Greene reported that parcel deliveries accounted for 51% of revenues, with Royal Mail handling 115 million parcels in December.
The company was privatised in October 2013, with Ms Green saying that financial performance was in line with expectations.
Shares in the company closed on Thursday at 588p, up 78% since October.

Met Police Seize Scam Mail Aimed At UK Victims
In the first operation of its kind, officers from the Metropolitan Police Service's Economic and Specialist Crime Unit (Operation Sterling) took possession of a bulk delivery of scam mail intended for vulnerable victims across the UK and searched and closed five virtual offices used by the scammers.

Royal Mail announces record Christmas trading
The Royal Mail has announced a record Christmas trading performance, with a 10.6% revenue increase across the company as compared to the previous year. The £80 million increase in sales in the four weeks to December 25 is one of the best Christmas performances announced by a large UK company so far.
